One
very interesting aspect about humankind...
is
that they lose their health to make money...
and then lose that money to restore their health.
Claudia
B. Wolfe, L.Ac.,
is a senior licensed acupuncturist and primary health care provider
centrally located in San Jose, California. Her practice is exclusive
to male and female patients seeking help with infertility, be it
naturally or via assisted technology (ART) such as IUI or IVF.
Prior to her move to Seoul, Korea, (1997 2000) she specialized
in gynecology in private practice for ten years in Santa Barbara,
California. Then for three years in Korea, she worked as the Director
of International Studies at Kyung Hee University , the Harvard
of Oriental medicine in Asia. While in Korea, she had the
unique opportunity to study with Dr. Kang Myuang Ja, Medical Director
of Conmaul Hospital. Working from her ten-story private hospital
in downtown Seoul, Dr. Kang modestly admits to 7,000+ successful
births in her fourteen years of practice. Wolfe is one of the few
practitioners ever to be accepted as an intern at this hospital
where male and female infertility is treated with acupuncture, herbs
and the latest technology in Oriental protocols of diagnosing.
Judith
Tognetti, L.Ac is a California Board Licensed Acupuncturist
and Herbalist and Nationally Certified Acupuncturist. She received
her Masters of Science Degree from the renowned Five Branches Institute
of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Cruz, California and studied
both Western and Eastern medicine. Ms. Tognetti has studied with
many famous acupuncturists over her career and has continued increasing
her knowledge in field of reproductive medicine. Ms. Tognetti s
main specialties are Womens Healthcare, which includes OB-Gyn,
Infertility, Pregnancy and Menopause. She has, also, had extensive
training in Sports Medicine and is currently finishing her
Diplomate status in Orthopedic Acupuncture.
While
Dr. Helen Bae is a seasoned chiropractor her study of and
the efficacy of her training in craniopathy has lead her focus primarily
to this remarkable modality. Chiropractic-craniopathy addresses
pelvic instability as well as blood flow into this crucial area
for reproductive health. The pelvis is held together by ligaments
that can stretch and tear during pregnancy or from a trauma which
if not treated, can lead to severe low back pain.
Dr.
Bae has worked extensively with medical doctors co-treating OB/GYN
patients. To do so makes logical sense considering the relationship
of the placement of the spine, the reproductive organs and the necessary
blood flow necessary to these organs.

Renate
Kempf, Ph.D. is pleased to be sharing
space and clients with Wellness Within at the Palo Alto location.
Please see her WEB site
for contact information.
Renate has her own business, Azureheart Structural Integration.
Structural Integration is a unique combination of deep tissue work
and movement education that helps people become more relaxed, aligned,
and resilient. Structural Integration can be beneficial for a number
of conditions such as repetitive stress injuries, knee and shoulder
issues, back pain, and so on. Within the context of fertility treatment,
Structural Integration has been beneficial because it horizontalizes
the pelvis in both men and women.
While
no studies have been done to confirm the link between Structural
Integration and pregnancy, anecdotal evidence is highly suggestive
of a strong connection. The deep relaxation that often results from
a session can also be very helpful.
Renate has been in business for over five years. Renate has studied
with Peter Melchior and Emmet Hutchins, two of Ida Rolf's first
students. She is also a certified yoga instructor. For more information,
see her website at www.azureheart.com.
